Gold Star Full Time Livery

All the daily needs of your horse will be taken care of to ensure he/she is comfortable and happy. This package includes feed, hay and straw bedding (supplements not included), we can cover for the farrier when you cannot be there and we can also be available for dentist and vet visits if needed etc.

Full Time Livery

Standard Full livery offers a range of services similar to our Gold Star Full livery but tailored to reduce livery costs while still offering a high level of cover.

Currently Part Livery is offered at two different levels to help tailor it to your needs. It is an individual service based on working around your other commitments.

Brookside Field View

Brookside outside stables are offered at three different levels to help tailor it to your needs.

Client holiday Cover

Brookside can offer assistance for those wanting holiday cover or the odd day off. You are also free to arrange alternative cover yourself but you must let the proprietors know of the arrangements in your absence. Charges will apply as follows:

Full Livery

all is included but you must let us know you’re away so we are aware.

Part Livery

Part Livery there will be an additional charge of £10.00 per day which includes poo picking and a flick over. Full grooming would be charged as an extra if required. Without poo picking the charge will be £8.00 per day.

Field view stables

will incur an additional charge of £12 per day including poo picking and £10 per day without.

Horse Sickness Cover

Box Rest: Brookside will need to charge additional livery services for those that go on to box rest after the first 5 days.

Administration of any medication, dental, treatments and/or applications of dressings/bandages will also incur an additional charge.

Bank Holiday Cover

Full livery – no additional costs

Part livery – limited services available and extra costs.

DIY Yard - limited services available and extra costs.

Worming program

it is a condition of the yard that all horses are part of the yard worming program.

FEC Testing is done and wormers provided at cost

Strangle Policy

All new residents to both brookside or diy yard must have a negative/clear strangle test on arrival.

Temporary Movements

once a horse leaves the yard we have no control on its movements and who it is in contact with .therefore we have a policy in place so everyone knows where they are.

1) Going to a show,hunting,pony club or camp.

( the horse not staying away for more then 6 nights and will not be in a high risk situation)

Then you  must ensure to follow the correct biosecurity protocol.and you may return to yard without testing or isolation.

2) going away for 7 days or more

if your horse is leaving the yard for more then 6 nights or is in a high risk situation then you must have a strangle test before return.

there are no exceptions to this rule
